The Christmas season is Apple’s busiest period, with analysts expecting the firm to pull in a record £87billion in the final three months of the year.
That would be an increase from £80billion in 2020. Apple is also likely to announce new versions of its Macbook Pro laptops, iPad tablets and Airpod headphones this autumn.
The company’s products have sold well during the pandemic, as families in lockdown have bought kit for work, home schooling and entertainment.
