CityFibre bringing the best broadband connectivity to Coventry

CityFibre, the UK’s largest independent full fibre platform is building networks across the UK that will transform cities and ignite a digital revolution. Investing up to £4bn across the country to bring comprehensive full fibre access to up to eight million premises in towns and cities across the UK.

Included in this rollout, is Coventry where work started in the city in 2018, and the build due to be finalised in 2023. Once complete, the £72m private investment will see almost every home and business having access to the highest level of connectivity in terms of reliability and speed – an issue that affected may people during the global pandemic, when our legacy copper infrastructure struggled.

CityFibre is an infrastructure provider, and its network can be accessed through a growing number of internet service provider (ISPs) including Vodafone and Talk Talk in Coventry. The network brings the fastest, most reliable broadband enabling you to work, stream and game at the same time with no buffering and no stress.

Homes in the north, centre and west of the city are already connected and enjoying the benefits of full fibre broadband – that can mean up to 1000 Mbps speeds – 20 times faster than the average UK home.

CityFibre has chosen to sponsor the Company of the Year category at the CoventryLive Business Awards.

The premier accolade for the awards, this category will be selected from the winners of the other business-related categories.
