Flexible workspace provider, Wizu Workspace, has launched its brand new event space in Leeds, following a six figure refurbishment of the Grade I listed Leeming Building.
The new Heritage event space, which can be found above the historic Leeds Market, offers capacity for up to 70 guests and includes a breakout area complete with a kitchen, its own private entrance, a large conference room and a large main event hall with period windows and ceilings.
The investment into the new space includes high spec boardroom furniture and tech, conference facilities, meeting pods, catering space and flexible storage.
Tom Almas, Wizu chief executive, said: “There really isn’t a space like this in Leeds. We’ve combined our sleek contemporary design with the building’s original period features – including the stunning ceiling which never fails to amaze – to create a beautiful event space furnished to the highest standard with exceptional amenities.
“Staying true to our flexible ethos, those looking to hire the space can completely tailor it to their event – opting to use all three of the rooms or just one.
“We’re looking forward to supporting the Yorkshire business community with this new asset and think it will play host to a range of exciting events, conferences and meetings over the coming year.”
Despite having only just launched, the space has already been used by a number leading household brands including Hallmark and Nandos, and is set to host some of the upcoming Leeds Digital Festival events.
It is a fourth addition in the city, with space in Bradford and Sheffield too.
