The 2021 NottinghamshireLive Sales and Marketing finalists are…

The 2021 NottinghamshireLive Business Awards are just around the corner, and we’re proud to announce that this year’s worthy finalists have been chosen. The awards, in association with Champions (UK) PLC, will be held on October 14 – for more information, visit the official website..

The awards are our way of celebrating the businesses and individuals who help make Nottinghamshire’s business community a thriving and dynamic one. Every year businesses, employees, and entrepreneurs achieve incredible things – and the awards give them the chance to be recognised for their work.

We feel that the awards have a particular importance this year, as they give us a chance for celebration after a difficult time for businesses. The coronavirus pandemic placed businesses and businesspeople in difficult situations, with many forced to limit their work or close down entirely for a time.

Despite such obstacles, members of Nottinghamshire’s business community worked dedicatedly to succeed against the odds – and it’s this dedication and skill that the awards celebrate. Ahead of the awards, we’re putting out profiles of our finalists, to give you a chance to learn about them ahead of the big night.

The Sales and Marketing Award, as the name suggests, recognises businesses which have demonstrated the ability to excel and innovate in sales and marketing. The 2021 finalists in this category are:

Doughnotts

Doughnotts create handmade, rough ‘n’ ready doughnuts that make no compromise on taste and customer experience. One of the first doughnut specialists to cater for vegans in the UK, Doughnotts has created uniquely flavoured and presented doughnuts since it established a micro-bakery in 2015. It now offers a unique take on event catering, with celebration cakes featuring doughnut centrepieces and ‘doughnut walls’ that bring a wow factor to parties and weddings. The rapid success of the company has seen it expand into three locations and it now supplies a range of eateries across the East Midlands.

Hallam

Hallam practice ethical digital marketing that is guided by strategy and driven by purpose, not profit. Hallam blend strategic thinking, creativity, and technical expertise to create integrated digital marketing campaigns that deliver the only result that matters – business success. Its strategic approach, creativity and technical skills have helped it to become Google’s top-performing digital marketing agency, beating 35 other shortlisted agencies from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. It has also been The Drum’s most recommended agency in the UK, three years running, based entirely on client feedback.

nuom

nuom helps early-stage companies design, build, and launch successful products faster and with less risk. Its team of experts and advisors identify areas of opportunity in a client’s existing product, helping to drive breakout success and reach millions of users. The client journey begins at the design stage, with prototypes created in just five days. Fully tested ready-to-go products are shipped once they pass nuom’s strict QA process. A team of designers, developers and project managers use transparent, open communication and can cut development time by 75%. Each client works with the same team through each stage, ensuring a detailed and dedicated approach is achieved.
