WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Wednesday said she would not allow Republican Representatives Jim Jordan and Jim Banks to serve on the special committee investigating the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, rejecting two of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s five picks for the panel.
