The Great British Bake Off 2021 kicked off on Channel 4 on Tuesday, and fans already think they know who will win the entire show
The Great British Bake Off fans already have their winner of the 2021 series, just a week into the show.
The Channel 4 series returned on Tuesday night, with a new batch of bakers hoping to win over the judges.
Viewers immediately fell in love with one particular contestant too, with many tipping him to go all the way and win the series.
Jurgen, originally from the Black Forest in Germany, was an immediate hit, with his bakes impressing viewers and the judges.
The IT professional, who lives with his wife and son on the Sussex coast, even won Star Baker – the first of the current series.

He was overwhelmed as host Noel Fielding announced the news, with his fellow bakers quickly congratulating him.
In an awkward moment, Jurgen called his loved ones in a bid to tell them of his success only for no one to answer.
Speaking of his unexpected win, he said: “It is incredible. Before I thought, ‘Star Baker? Hmm, doesn’t matter too much,’ but I feel so woo!”
Viewers fell in love with Jurgen a little bit more after seeing his reaction, and the phone blunder.
They had already been won over with his Black Forest themed mini rolls, and his showstopper of a 3D book cake based on his favourite book, Thomas More’s Utopia.
Taking to Twitter, many confessed they wanted him to win the show already – as others were willing to bet he was going to be the 2021 series champion based on week one alone.
One viewer tweeted: “Declaring early on #GBBO. Team Jurgen. He is my winner already.”
Another agreed: “Jurgen is already my winner and I will hear no other arguments.”
A third added: “Jurgen will win,” as a fourth wrote: “Jurgen to win. Calling it now.”
Meanwhile, a fifth commented: “I know it’s only the first episode but honestly Jurgen is my winner of the season.”
This was echoed by a sixth viewer who said: “Jurgen is gonna take the win I can feel it.”
The Great British Bake Off airs Tuesdays at 9pm on Channel 4.
