Best friend’s heartwrenching tribute to stabbing victim who had a ‘golden heart’

A close friend of stabbing victim Kian Tordoff has paid a heartbreaking tribute in his memory.

Ellis Rubery described his friend Kian, who tragically died on October 10, as more like a brother to him and said that they “did everything together.”

He said that Kian, from Bradford, had “a smile that could light up the whole estate” and was “the most golden-hearted beautiful soul there ever was to walk on this earth”, reports Yorkshire Live.

Ellis stated: “He was my best friend – a brother in better words. We did everything together; I don’t know what I will do without him.”

Meanwhile, floral tributes have been placed at the scene of the horrific crime in memory of Kian.

One note left alongside some flowers said: “Absolutely devastated. You will be forever in my heart. I love you so much. Love from Nana T.”

Another said: “Kian, my heart is shattered. I just can’t process that you’re gone. It doesn’t feel real. You’re going to be missed. I love you, my beautiful cousin.”

Kian, 19, from Bierley in Bradford, died from stab wounds after police were called to John Street in Bradford city centre at 5.45am on Sunday.

A second man, also 19, also suffered stab wounds and is currently in hospital in a critical but stable condition.

Two males, aged 16 and 26, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder and are currently in custody.
