EastEnders actor James Farrar has welcomed his first child with wife Ali.

The 34-year-old soap star, who plays Sharon Mitchell’s brother Zack Hudson, proudly shared a photo of his baby on his Instagram Stories.

He wrote: “Life will never stand still again and nor will I! #bobbinglife.”

The couple wed four years ago after dating for nine years.

They have not yet confirmed their baby’s name or gender after author Ali first confirmed she was pregnant back in July as she shared a selfie of them both as she showed off her bump.

She wrote at the time: “Mama and Papa #babylove #firstbumppic #love.”

Last month, James celebrated his 15-year relationship to Ali, hailing her as his “soul mate” and saying that he “fell for [her] hard”.

Sharing a black and white photo of their wedding, a video of their friends touching her bump and a selfie of the pair of them smiling, he wrote: “Ali Roff, my soul mate.

“15 years ago Als came into my life. Every day I learn something new from you. I’ve never met anyone with such intelligence. Especially emotional.

“I fell for you hard – I loved partying with you – and you’re an absolute sort. However, falling in love with you was down to your awareness of this world. The mad social conditioning. Behavioural traits, brought on by trauma, and their triggers. How we communicate is why we thrive. And you’ve taught me that.

“Ali is a wellbeing expert that has documented her story in @psychologiesmagazine each month, and through her book ‘The Wellfuness Project’. She lives her truth, through conscious awareness and brave acceptance, and manages to lift others with it too.

“We have both come from parents that gave us time and love. My dad taught me how to be a lad that could be vulnerable. Your mum taught you how to be a woman, to lead a family and break the patriarchy. Most important of all, we felt seen by our parents.

The pair have been together for 15 years

“Our baby comes into a world where fear is conditioned, but there will be none of this at home. You will learn from your grandparents, aunties and uncles to be fearless. But most importantly, you’ll learn this from your incredible Mummy.

“I have just seen Ali go through a 9 month pregnancy; working full-time, smiling, dancing, singing, laughing. Seamless.

“I will adore our child, but continue to adore your magic Als. You’ve impressed me more than ever through this pregnancy.

“We were both a product of our surroundings, so for baby to see how we support each other will be the perfect education. I’m blessed to be able to bring a baby up with someone with such courage, which I believe is down to your unfaltering faith in something bigger than us. And your ability to remind me, always, that “something wonderful is about to happen”.

“Love Farrar x.”
