The 22-year-old influencer has not been seen since late August, after going on a van trip around the United States with her boyfriend Brian Laundrie, 23 – who returned to his home in Florida without her
Police have released bodycam footage showing a distressed Gabby Petito a month before she was reported missing.
The 22-year-old influencer has not been seen since late August, after going on a van trip around the United States with her boyfriend Brian Laundrie, 23.
The footage appears to show ongoing tension between Gabby and Laundrie – who has since been named as a person of interest in the case.
An officer sees their van swerve towards the curb before stopping, and through the window, Gabby is visibly upset while Laundrie is cooperative.

The almost hour-long video, released today, was recorded four weeks before Gabby was reported missing.
Moab City Police Department was called on August 12 and are seen separating Gabby and Laundrie.
Footage shows officers interviewing Gabby and Laundrie, who reportedly fought before a witness called 911 over concerns for the couple.
It was alleged Gabby slapped Laundrie because she feared he was going to drive off without her after an argument.

No charges were filed and the incident was classed as a “mental/emotional health break” and not a domestic assault, police said.
Gabby told police they had been arguing more frequently in the days leading up to August 12 and that she suffers from anxiety, ABC7 News reported.
It is thought the pair separated that night and continued travelling the following day.
Gabby’s family say she stopped communicating with them somewhere in Wyoming and her mum Nicole Schmidt received a final text from her on August 30.
A search for Gabby has been ongoing since September 11.
Laundrie returned to their home in North Port, Florida, on September 1 without Gabby, who has not been seen or heard from.
Police named Laundrie as a person of interest in her disappearance on Wednesday.
Nicole said she reached out to her Laundrie and his mother Roberta Laundrie on September 10 to try and get hold of her daughter, but was ignored.
Authorities have attempted to speak with Laundrie and his parents, but they have so far refused to cooperate.
His family said in a statement on Tuesday they would be “remaining in the background” as the investigation continues and will not comment further.
Gabby, from New York, has not been seen since she left a hotel with Brian, in Salt Lake City, Utah, on August 24.
She had been making a social media blog as she travelled around the United States with her Laundrie before her disappearance.
Her last known location was Grand Teton National Park.
The couple is understood to have been previously engaged, but her mother said they decided to call it off after deciding they were too young for marriage.
Laundrie issued a statement through his lawyer Steve Bertolino on Tuesday.
He said: “This is an extremely difficult time for both the Petito family and the Laundrie family. I understand that a search has been organised for Miss Petito in or near Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming.
“On behalf of the Laundrie family, it is our hope that the search for Miss Petito is successful and that Miss Petito is re-united with her family.
“On the advice of counsel, the Laundrie family is remaining in the background at this juncture and will have no further comment.”
