Lorraine Kelly, 61, has taken to Instagram to share a sweet snap of her lookalike daughter Rosie Smith, 27.

The popular ITV television host, who presents the morning programme Lorraine, always mentions her daughter when on air, speaking fondly of her and sharing insights into their close bond.

The Scottish sweetheart decided to give fans another glimpse into their close mother-and-daughter bond over the weekend when she shared a sweet snap of her daughter, who happens to look exactly like her,

Sharing the photo with her 452,000 Instagram followers, Lorraine regrammed the snap of Rosie from her daughter’s Instagram page and penned the caption: “My beautiful girl,” complete with a bright red heart emoji.

Friends and followers were quick to comment on the photo saying how alike the pair are and how much of a double Rosie is to her 61-year-old mum.

One follower said: “Mamas Double!!”

While another wrote: “Awh Rosie certainly is just like her Mother.”

And a third penned: “Omg that could be you.”

A fourth said: “I thought it was you Lorraine, mini you, so alike.”

While a fifth chimed in: “Gosh, so alike…. Could be twins.”

The regrammed snap was originally posted on 27 year old Rosie’s page, where she wrote: “When someone mentions flying home,” alongside a photo of her sipping a large glass of white wine while holidaying in Tuscany.

Posting the photo on Saturday, hinting that her holiday was almost approaching the final days, her famous mum simply commented: “Beautiful xxxx.”

Lorraine and her daughter Rosie often appear on Channel 4’s popular reality programme, Gogglebox, where they sit down together and watch some of the most-talked about TV moments.

Rosie has followed in the footsteps of her mum and has a very successful career. She achieved a2:1 at university and has worked full-time in Singapore for the past four years.

She works in marketing and is a community manager at company Accela.
