Millie Court and Liam Reardon previously said that they would not consider getting a place together for six months, but the lovebirds have decided to bring their moving in schedule ahead
Love Island winners Millie Court and Liam Reardon’s romance is going from strength to strength.
The genetically blessed pair are now in the process of cementing their relationship further by moving in together after meeting on the ITV2 dating show this summer.
Excited couple Millie and Liam shared the news they’re shacking up with their fans on Instagram on Monday evening.
Taking to his Stories, Liam announced that he and his sweetheart were viewing apartments and that they plan to select the pad for them to settle into later this week.
Former bricklayer Liam teased his fans by quizzing them on if they thought he and Millie were spending their day going or a hike or house hunting.
After his followers guessed correctly that they were looking at homes he updated them on their plans.
Liam told: “We looked at 2 apartments today and we are looking at 2 more tomorrow and we will have a better idea of what we are going with!”
Sharing his joy, he added: “Exciting times ahead!”
Millie then joined in: “So exciting!” and reposted the footage to her own Instagram Stories.
The couple’s decision is a major U-turn after Liam previously said that the pair wouldn’t live together for at least six months.
During his Love Island exit interview, Liam, from Merthyr Tydfil in Wales, said: “I love where I’m from but I would like to venture off and move to somewhere new and Essex seems like the perfect place really.
“I know some of the boys who were in the villa we got on so well and they mentioned moving in together and they’d like to move to Essex so that’s something I would definitely be considering and that’s my plan really, moving to Essex.”
He admitted that somewhere down the line he plans to move in with his new beau but insists he doesn’t want to add any more pressure onto the pair just yet.
Millie agreed and spoke of similar plans with some of the girls from the show as she added: “We haven’t been away from each other yet to miss each other and do those things that you do in normal relationships.
“But us girls [from the villa] will rent a house in Essex, boys will rent a house in Essex, see how that goes for six months and then get a crack on with it [moving in together].”
The Love Island couple won the reality show at the end of August after being voted the most popular couple.
They split the £50,000 money after Millie chose to share the bounty.
