Ryanair has a huge flash sale with flights from £5 including Portugal and Italy

Ryanair has a Cyber Monday sale with flights from £5 each way including Spain, Portugal, Italy and more holiday destinations – but you’ll need to be quick to snap up the holiday deals

Ryanair has launched a huge Cyber Monday sale

Ryanair has pulled out all the stops for its Cyber Monday sale and slashed prices on thousands of flights to just £5 each way.

Yep, that includes heaps of popular holiday destinations across hotspots like Spain, Portugal, Italy, Hungary Poland and more – in fact, there are 70,000 discounted seats up for grabs.

The sale is valid for departures from a number of UK airports too including London Stansted, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Manchester to name a few.

You can already book the cheap flights on the Ryanair website but you’ll need to do so by 11.59pm tonight (Monday 29 November), when the sale ends.

The deals are valid for travel between December 1-16, 2021, and January 6 to February 18 next year.

The offer is based on Value fare tickets. This is Ryanair’s cheapest ticket option, which includes a small cabin bag, such as a handbag or laptop bag. If you want to bring a second cabin bag on board, you’ll need to pay extra. Prices start from £8 depending on the option you choose – you can see Ryanair’s full list of fees here for more information.

It’s worth noting of course that in recent days, the UK has changed its travel rules due to concerns over the new Omicron variant of coronavirus.

From 4am on Tuesday (November 30), the rules are changing for vaccinated travellers. Previously, double jabbed arrivals simply needed to take either a PCR or lateral flow test on day two.

Under the new rules, vaccinated arrivals need to self-isolate for the first two days back in the UK, and take a PCR test on day two, where a negative result will allow you to stop isolating.

The rules for those who are unvaccinated or partially unvaccinated remain unchanged; you’ll still need to take a pre-departure test, and self-isolate for 10 days when arriving in the UK as well as taking PCR tests on days two and eight.

For example, Spain is changing its rules so that from December 1 you’ll need to be fully vaccinated in order to be able to visit the country.
