Former Met Police officer Wayne Couzens, sentenced to a whole life order for the murder of Sarah Everard, was said to be open with colleagues about using prostitutes, it has been reported
Killer police officer Wayne Couzens brought a prostitute to a hotel party with his Met colleagues and referred to her as his bit of “brass”, it has been claimed.
The private do at the Hilton in Maidstone, Kent, was to celebrate a fellow officer’s 10th wedding anniversary, with Couzens said to have been open about his date being an escort.
On another occasion a woman is alleged to have turned up at his London police station asking for money.
The married dad-of-two was then called back from patrol so he could go to a cashpoint with her and admitted she was also a prostitute, it is claimed.

Referring to the party, a source told the Sun “jaws dropped when he showed up with this woman dressed really over the top”.
“He was quite open about her being an escort,” they said, adding he claimed his was busy so “I’ve brought this brass with me”.
The source said Couzens was “always saying weird things about sex” and gave several colleagues “the creeps”.

In relation to the alleged cashpoint incident, another source said the woman refused to leave until she’d spoken to Couzens.
“When he came back from the ATM he said she was Eastern European and that he couldn’t be messing around with her or the people looking after her,” they said.
The two alleged incidents will put further pressure on under fire Scotland Yard chief Cressida Dick over how the force failed to identify Couzens as a risk.
Sue Fish, ex-Chief Constable of Nottinghamshire, told the Sun it “beggars belief” that no-one saw fit to raise either of the two escort incidents with superiors.
Couzens, who is now in a high security unit at HMP Belmarsh, is said to have regularly met call girls, often in public, and this was common knowledge among fellow officers.
In 2015, he is reported to have driven around Kent naked from the waist down and flashed McDonald’s staff just days before kidnapping Miss Everard in Clapham, in March.
Couzens was stationed at a station in Bromley, south London, before joining the Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Unit with specialist firearms training.
