Sopra Steria has been ranked third in the latest TechMarketView UK Business Process Operations Supplier Rankings 2021. These rankings are part of a series of reports assessing market and supplier performance that includes BPS Operations Market Trends & Forecasts and BPS Operations Prospects reports, due for publication later in 2021.
The report, launched on 16th August 2021, sees Sopra Steria move up the rankings of the top 20 UK solution suppliers from number six to number three, with growth of +10.5% between 2019 and 2020. This was largely driven by the company’s joint ventures with the Cabinet Office, Shared Services Connected Limited (SSCL), and with the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) in NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS).
John Neilson, CEO, Sopra Steria UK & Asia commented: “I am extremely pleased with this improvement in our ranking. Both joint ventures, with their independent boards, utilise our core capabilities, delivery and culture to offer significant value to government stakeholders and frontline service delivery, and it is great to see this recognised. We take great pride in helping our customers overcome their most complex organisational challenges by designing and delivering front and back-office business process services which help them to save costs, eliminate risk and serve their customers, citizens or patients better.”
Sopra Steria’s Business Process Services (BPS) are built upon SSCL and NHS SBS’s heritage delivering some of the largest BPO platforms in Europe, combined with Sopra Steria’s experience in business transformation and digital gives the organisation a unique position in the BPS market. Growth across Sopra Steria’s Business Process Services has been accelerated in the past 12 months through digital innovation, including investments in automation technologies, standardisation of platforms across industries, migration to cloud and by using their expertise in data and analytics to help customers make service improvements through real time insights and management reporting.
