Adam Woodyatt might not have entered the Welsh castle (yet), but he has made a social media appearance. Sending a sweet video to Corrie’s Sally Ann Matthews, she hinted that he WON’T be heading into the castle this year
Adam Woodyatt, who was rumoured to head into the Welsh castle for this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! looks totally different in a sweet message that he sent to a fellow soap star.
Adam sent Sally Ann a sweet video, encouraging her and providing moral support as she embarks upon a run.
Looking completely unrecognisable, Adam stood in a picturesque location complete with blue skies and what looked like open water.
He donned a black hoodie and a slight beard as he wished his friend well, cheering her on and speaking directly to the camera.
Writing on her Virgin Money page, the platform that she has selected to help her raise the money, the Corrie star said: “On the 19th September 2020 I turned 50 years old. I have never been remotely sporty but earlier this year I decided to embark upon Couch to 5K and I loved it.
“Having completed the programme I knew I had to set myself a challenge so that I wouldn’t find my way back to the couch with the remote control and a glass of wine. So why not run 50 5Ks between 19/9/20 and 18/9/21 to raise money for five charities?”
Sally Ann continued: “They are Acting For Others, Action Against Cancer, JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund), The Matt Hampson Foundation and the RNLI. I will be posting a Fitbit photograph after each run on my Instagram page as well as updating here if you want to keep tabs on me!”
She concluded: “Just hope my knees hold out….x”
Sally Ann shared the video of Adam and wrote: “My mate for nearly 30 years, cheers @adamwoodyatt ! Looking forward to seeing you very soon.. x #Run50Loading #505ks450th.”
The Corrie actress’ caption hints that Adam won’t be entering the I’m A Celeb castle, which will likely disappoint fans of the newly launched celebrity gameshow.
This comes as Adam failed to enter the Welsh castle on the launch night of I’m A Celeb, despite being rumoured to star in the 2021 series.
Adam who is known for playing Ian Beale in EastEnders and Simon Gregson who plays Steve MacDonald in Coronation Street were both rumoured to enter the Welsh castle but have not addressed rumours of their arrival, or lack of.
Although they were not announced as part of the initial ten celebrities, rumours spiralled around their appearances on the show.
Both Adam and Simon’s whereabouts or the reason for absence has yet to be disclosed, but viewers have been left frustrated, after complaining about the ‘poor’ lineup this year.
Some fans have been questioning whether Simon and Adam would truly take part in 2021’s I’m A Celebrity instalment, as neither of them have been mentioned.
