AJ Pritchard’s girlfriend Abbie’s hair transformation after horror fire

AJ Pritchard’s girlfriend Abbie Quinnen has left with third-degree burns after she was engulfed in flames following a social media video going wrong in January

AJ Pritchard’s girlfriend Abbie Quinnen has told how she fell “awful and insecure” after parts of her hair were burnt off following a freak accident that left her with third-degree burns.

Dancer Abbie, 24, was engulfed in flames when a glass she was using for a TikTok video exploded in January, leaving her needing three skin grafts.

The couple were filming a ‘life hack’ video – that was intended to show how a glass bottle could be cut in half so it could then be used as a vase – when the accident happened

But the technique – which involved dipping a rope into a flammable chemical, wrapping it around the bottle and lighting a flame – made the glass explode, setting Abbie on fire.

And now, Abbie has taken to Instagram to reveal that she is feeling confident with her tresses after spending months taking vitamins to build up her hair growth.

Proud of her locks after being devastated at them being frazzled by flames, Abbie uploaded several snaps that showed her hair after the accident.

In the pre-treatment snaps, her locks appeared thin and dry and chunks of her blonde hair were at different lengths which were drastically different to her most recent captures that revealed her hair to look thicker and shinier.

“SWIPE for the most AMAZING TRANSFORMATION using @jshealthvitamins hair & energy tablets I cannot tell you how much my hair has drastically changed taking these tablets!” she wrote as she advertised the product she has been using.

Detailing how the condition of her hair was getting her down, she added: “I honestly felt so awful & insecure about my hair after my hair got burnt in the fire & after taking my hair extensions out it left my hair so so thin & broken! I saw the hair an energy tablets on an influencers story & I thought I had to give it a try!!

“You can see for yourself how amazing my transformation was I am 5 months in & take them every day! I will honestly never not take them now I cannot recommend this product enough thank you @jshealthvitamins #ad.”

Earlier this year, Abbie was intensive care for five nights as staff attempted to repair her damaged skin following the horror fire.

She was left with third-degree burns all over her face, arm and torso.

She told The Sun at the time: “My face was burning hot, it felt very painful. I was lucky it missed my eye.

“I had massive blisters filled with water on my chest, neck and face and they had to pop them and clean the areas…

“My face swelled up. I couldn’t see out of my right eye.

“Luckily, there were no mirrors in the bathrooms but I kept glimpsing my reflection in my phone screen, it was horrific.”

She recently revealed she has to wear a compression vest 23 hours a day.

In a post on Instagram, she shared a picture of her dress and said: “There’s only a few things I feel comfortable wearing at the moment and this dress is one of them.

“Definitely am finding it hard to find what to wear at the moment as I have to wear a compression vest 23 hours a day under my clothes and keep my scars out of the sun.

“I’m always panicking about what I’m going to wear before I leave the house so it’s always so lovely to get so many compliments from you all about what I’m wearing! Thank you.”
