Ant and Dec have made history at the National Television Awards as they were crowned winners of the Best Presenter gong for the 20th year running.

The I’m A Celebrity hosts beat the likes of Piers Morgan, Holly Willoughby, and Bradley Walsh to the poll after winning the coveted NTA thropy every year for the past 20 years.

It’s been a long and incredibly successful road for both Ant and Dec as they continue to storm the National Television Awards with their Geordie charm and their undeniable talent.

Their first win came in 2001, and they’ve taken the award every year since then.

Before their unmatchable reign of success, Michael Barrymore was the last winner to win the award for Best Presenter back in 2000.

If their historical winning streak wasn’t enough, the Geordie also won the inaugural Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award back in 2018.

Their winning streak hasn’t been a source of joy for everyone though, as Piers Morgan appeared to have swerved the ceremony at London’s O2 Arena tonight amid suspicions that Ant and Dec would win once more.

Ahead of the 26th annual ceremony, the former Good Morning Britain host hit out at the duo as he begged for votes.

Taking to Twitter, Piers penned: “One more day to vote.

“You can either fuel the world’s most tediously predictable farce by helping Ant & Dec win Presenter of the Year for the 20th bloody year – or vote for me to support free speech and ruin Princess Pinocchio’s year.

“Your call, Britain – don’t let me down.”

Piers tuned into the awards from the comfort of his living room sofa as he watched Ant and Dec being crowned the winners for the 20th year in a row.
