Chelsea v Manchester City: Thomas Tuchel pre match

Gameweek 6 of Fantasy Premier League returns this weekend and FPL managers are starting to sweat over the fitness of the players in their squads as they make their final changes to their teams for GW6.

Midweek cup competitions can always be a time where handfuls of players pick up injuries that rule them out of contention on their return to league football, and some clubs have racked up quite the injury list over the past week including Man City and Leeds United.

There are some big clashes this week in the Premier League with Spurs facing Arsenal and Pep Guardiola’s City facing Chelsea, and injuries are set to change a few squads ahead of GW6.

GW6 commences on Saturday, September 25 when Chelsea host Man City and Man United play Aston Villa at 12:30pm BST UK time, meaning the deadline for transfers and selecting your starting XI will be at 11:00am BST UK time on Saturday, September 25.

Here is the latest injury and availability news across every Premier League team ahead of FPL Gameweek 6, with information gathered from the official FPL website, and is correct as of 17:00pm BST UK time on Friday, September 24, 2021.
