Molly-Mae goes for biopsy in August after noticing ‘benign lump’

Molly-Mae Hague has shared her first update since going under the knife to get a lump removed from her breast over the weekend.

The former Love Island star, 22, took to Instagram to post a gorgeous snap as she welcomed the first few days of Autumn.

The fashionista looked casual yet chic as she rocked some loose-fitting denim jeans, a white oversized sweatshirt, and a faux-leather trench coat.

Molly-Mae has been incredibly open and honest about her surgery – documenting it on her social media and urging her 6.1 million followers to get their breast checks for any irregularities.

The blonde beauty has been hailed an ‘angel’ by her adoring fans, but following her most recent post, a number have shared their concern, claiming the PrettyLittleThing creative director looks ‘sad’ and ‘downcast’.

Underneath Molly’s gorgeous new snap, one follower penned: “You look so sad Molly-Mae. Sending you all the love.”

“Awh, she looks glum. But beautiful as always,” another echoed.

“Is it just me or does she look really downcast,” someone else questioned.

Meanwhile, another gushed: “Hope you’re doing okay you angel on earth.”

It comes after Molly-Mae told her followers to ‘check your bodies’ after she had a lump removed from her breast.

She also revealed that she got a mysterious lump in her finger removed after noticing it a number of weeks ago.

Molly shared the update from her hospital bed as she posed following her surgery.

In her caption, the beauty wrote: “I spoke about a lump on my boob on a recent vlog of mine, well I had it removed today. Check your bodies people!

“Also had a lump removed from my finger that I’ve spoken about a few times too.

“Also having a cannula put in my hand has always been without a doubt my BIGGEST fear…so that in itself is a HUGE achievement for me.”

Molly told her followers she had found a lump in August during a vlog, revealing her doctor had diagnosed it as a fibroadenoma.

The common and benign tumours are most common among women in their twenties and thirties.

Molly is also set for more surgery in the future in a bid to relieve the pain from her endometriosis — a long-term condition in which tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows elsewhere.

Lifting the lid on her diagnosis in a recent YouTube video, Molly said: “I’m just looking forward to it to be honest because my endometriosis MASSIVELY impacts my life, I just pray the surgery helps.

“I’m looking forward to speaking more about it on my YouTube to educate people properly on it. I know a lot of girls want me to do this.”

The star has been endlessly praised for being so honest about her health issues, and she has encouraged hundreds of women across the UK to get their bodies checked.
