Strictly Come Dancing star Tilly Ramsay has been banned from dating the Beckham kids by foul-mouthed dad Gordon and grilled his daughter when rumours swirled about a romance with Gino D’Acampo’s son
Tilly Ramsay will have to watch out while competing on Strictly Come Dancing as her dad will be watching intently.
The 19-year-old says she is going into the new series with no fears because dad Gordon will be her “harshest critic”, but the pro dancers may encounter the Hell’s Kitchen star’s wrath if they get too close to his daughter.
“I think I’ll deal with the criticism well,” said Tilly. “I do live with one of the harshest critics, dad, so I’m pretty used to that kind of stuff.”
The Ramsay kids famously have to deal with a lot of harsh parenting rules, including being banned from flying with their mum and dad in first class and being told they won’t get any inheritance.
But some of the most intrusive commands given by Gordon surround Tilly’s love life – as she’s banned from dating certain famous faces.
The Ramsay family have been very close with the Beckhams ever since Gordon catered their pre-World Cup party in 2006.

They also bonded over being Brits in the USA, with Tana and Victoria growing closer when the two families relocated to LA.
Having kids of very similar ages mean they also became pals, which was evident when they celebrated Christmas together in an exotic location in 2016.
Cruz Beckham shared a snap of him swimming alongside turtles in the sea with Strictly star Tilly.
However, Gordon has given a warning to his daughters to not get too closely involved with the Beckham boys.
Clearly not wanting their families to be intertwined in matrimony, he explained: “Three girls and a boy, and three boys and a girl – you’d be amazed at the synergy. We’ve promised that no one dates anybody, and so far…
“If Holly said: ‘Yeah, Brooklyn and I…’ it would be: ‘No, Holly.’”
While Gordon feared one of his daughters would strike up a romance with David’s son, he should have been looking at one of his other famous pals.
In 2018, rumours swirled that Tilly was dating TV chef Gino D’Acampo’s son Luciano after their dads worked together on their ITV road trip show with First Dates star Fred Sirieix.
In a hilariously awkward moment during an episode of Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip, the This Morning star was video calling his son while they drove through Mexico.
Luciano revealed he was out for dinner with Tilly, so furious Gordon cried: “What the hell? Tilly! What are you doing, Matilda?”
Gordon went on to joke that Tilly could end up having Gino as a father-in-law.
However, he downplayed the speculation during an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, claiming they were “just friends”.
Although when Jonathan joked it was an “arranged marriage”, Gordon described the situation as a “f***ing nightmare”.
Now Tilly is going on Strictly, she may have to contend with the infamous ‘curse’ as the professional dancers do have history of dating their partners.
Since November 2019 she has been dating her current boyfriend Seth Mack and regularly posts snaps of them together on Instagram.
Gordon has given a stern warning to anyone on Strictly wanting to try and become his son-in-law.
Speaking in a video message on This Morning earlier this year, Gordon said: “Hey Tils, it’s your dad, TikTok coach, dance extraordinaire. Wishing you all the very best, we’re proud of you girl. Love you!”
He swiftly added: “And don’t date those dancers!” Then wife Tana asked: “Can you stop?”
Gordon is set to be very jealous when Tilly takes to the Strictly ballroom this weekend.
The pair have taken the internet by storm in recent years with their hilarious TikToks, which include some impressive dance routines, but Tilly will now be getting professional help.
“Dad is very excited for me to be taking part, I think it’s something he’s always wanted to learn how to dance,” she explained.
“He definitely has two left feet so I will try to teach him, but I do get slightly impatient with him ‘cause it takes him a very long time.”
