Coronation Street legend Beverley Callard and Radio 1’s Jordan North are set to reunite for a new TV show.

The pair, who ‘instantly hit it off’ on I’m A Celebrity…Get me Out of Here! last year, will host a five-part series called Beverley & Jordan: Destination Wedding.

Due to air this autumn, the ITV show will follow Beverley, who is most famous for playing Liz McDonald in Corrie, as she prepares to renew her wedding vows to husband Jon McEwan in Spain.

But it will be down to radio host Jordan to help plan and organise the 64-year-old soap star’s big day.

Jordan will join Beverley on a road trip through Spain, where they will immerse themselves in local culture along the way.

Viewers will get to see the duo take part in traditional Spanish flamenco dancing, mud bathing, paella making and grape crushing.

They will also be picking up all the wedding essentials for Beverley’s special day, such as the cake, wine and the all-important dress.

Their journey will take them through Northern Spain, Madrid, Toledo, Valencia and Benidorm before arriving in Mojacar, Almeria, where Beverley has a home and which, by coincidence, is just minutes from where Jordan’s parents now live.

It’s here the trip will end with an emotional vow renewal ceremony in the Spanish sunshine.

But before they arrive at their final destination, there are bound to be a few hiccups along the way.

Beverley will also encourage Jordan to face his long list of fears – which includes heights.

I’m A Celeb fans will remember the moment Jordan vomited out of fear when he had to abseil down a cliff.

So will he be tempted to try some of the thrill-seeking activities Beverley has in store for him, like ziplining, paragliding and flyboarding?

Speaking about the new show, Beverley said: “Wow, what a journey! What a truly wonderful adventure Jordan and I went on which has guaranteed we are now friends for life.

“On the road, we really felt like a double act, the experience and discovering so much about Spain that neither of us knew about.

“We laughed, we cried, we met amazing people and saw amazing breathtaking places which was a dream come true.

“All the while, discovering so much about each other, and for it to culminate in me getting to renew my vows to Jon, the love of my life, in a fabulous celebration organised by Jordan, well that really capped off the adventure of a lifetime.

“I hope everyone who watches the show will love it as much as we did, we’ll definitely be back on the road again, on or off camera. We just have too much fun together for it to ever end.”

Jordan said filming the new show with Beverley had been a “total dream”.

He added: “Bev and I instantly hit it off on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! and I now see her as one of my closest friends, so having the opportunity to travel all around Spain together as we organised her wedding has made for a trip that I will never forget!

“I can’t wait for everyone to watch Destination Wedding, it’s unlike anything either of us have done before and is definitely one of the funniest things I’ve ever filmed so expect a lot of lols.”

ITV Commissioner Louise Major said: “Viewers loved seeing Beverley and Jordan’s friendship blossom on last year’s I’m A Celebrity, and this series will build on that as they go on an adventure through Spain to create a special day for the renewal of Beverley’s wedding vows.

“As we saw last year, they’re a pair of gigglers who like a good laugh and support each other through the toughest challenges, so expect lots of surprises and mishaps along the way.”

Beverley & Jordan: Destination Wedding will air this Autumn on ITV and ITV Hub.
