Mum-of-five Katie Price was told she was ‘too old’ after she reportedly asked journalist Kiran Rai for his number at last night’s National Television Awards
Katie Price was allegedly turned down by a younger man at last night’s National Television Awards after asking for his number.
Journalist Kiran Rai posted a video of him and Katie enjoying the hospitality at the star-studded event’s after party.
Captioning the post in which Katie, 43, can been sporting a high-neck floral blouse with her hair in a long plait, Kiran wrote: “When you and Katie Price are so drunk at the NTA @KatiePrice.
“She wanted my number and said, ‘I love your eyes. What’s your Instagram?’
“I replied, ‘I don’t do have Instagram plus your too old for me, (sic)” he added, followed by a laughing face emoji.
Katie and Harvey were nominated for the Authored Documentary category for Harvey and Me, in which Katie details life living with her eldest son.
However, after missing out to Good Morning Britain’s Kate Garraway, who won for her poignant film documenting her husband Dereks’ long battle with Covid, Katie headed off to the after party.
After his first post Kiran wrote: “Had a good night with drinks at the NTA awards @katieprice. Good seeing you today. ”
However, one fan didn’t appear to appreciate the journalist’s earlier jibe, writing: “Muggy what you wrote on your story about Katie Price just to get mentioned.”
Earlier in the evening the former glamour model walked the NTA red carpet alongside Harvey.
It is the first time the Page 3 icon has appeared in public since she was allegedly attacked at a house in Essex, with a 32-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assault and later released on bail.
Proud mum Katie, Harvey and her sister Sophie Price all attended the event in the hope the heartfelt documentary in which Harvey is the real star of the show would win.
The 19-year-old was dressed to impress for the occasion and looked very smart in a black shirt and trousers.
Harvey, who has autism was also wearing his noise reduction headphones.
His mum Katie received a lot of praise from fans and viewers for opening up about the realities of raising disabled children in the documentary and will now reveal more in a new series called Katie Price : What Harvey Did Next.
“The overwhelming love and support we received following Harvey And Me earlier this year was incredible,” she said.
“To see how so many people connected with our story and how it has helped so many families out there who are going through similar experiences has made me so proud. But Harvey’s story doesn’t end there.”
She continued: “In this next documentary we will again open up our lives to viewers, as Harvey takes the next step into adulthood as he moves out of our family home.
“I want to show our real story about how Harvey and I cope with such a big change in our lives, and hopefully help others dealing with similar issues.”
