Love Island star Toby Aromolaran has returned to training with his football team Hashtag United following his stint in the show.

The semi-professional footballer walked away from his club over the summer so he could spend two months in Majorca looking for love on the ITV2 dating show.

Toby coupled up with Chloe Burros and returned from his summer in the sun last month after coming second to fellow islanders Millie Court and Liam Reardon.

He’s now gone back to work after taking a well-deserved break.

Hashtag United’s goalkeeper Jamie Jackson took to his Instagram story to post a selfie of the pair at football training together this week.

He captioned the snap: “The boy is back” and it showed Toby flashing a huge smile as he posed his blue kit.

Toby kept up his foot skills during his time in the villa, and was often seen bouncing a ball around and swapping stories with fellow footballer Aaron Simpson.

After joining the show, many viewers were left confused by the name of Toby’s team with many questioning whether or not Hashtag United is a real football team, or whether they only exist online.

However, Hashtag United is a real football team partly inspired by online culture.

They’re a semi-professional club, and a part of the Eastern Counties Football League which play at levels 9 and 10 of the English football league system.

Toby may have gone back to work but his romance with Chloe is still going strong.

A group of this year’s islanders including Toby were seen on a night out together this week which is the first time they have reunited since the show concluded.

Toby, Chloe, Millie, Liam, Aaron Simpson and Lucinda Strafford all took to their social media pages to post the group having fun on a night out.

Chloe and Toby have also been spending some time as a couple together this week by going on their first real dates outside of the villa.

The pair went from strength to strength whilst in the villa after hitting more than one bump in the road.

Toby seemed to change his mind when it came to coupling up with girls whilst in the Spanish sun.

Firstly Toby coupled up with Kaz Kamwi but his head soon turned when Chloe entered the villa and he made it obvious that he wanted to get to know her instead.

Chloe and Toby spent some time together and seemed happy until new girl Abi Rawlings came in as a bombshell contestant.

The same thing happened and Toby told Chloe that he was tempted by Abi but Chloe didn’t take this lightly and was annoyed that Toby kept saying the pair needed to be ‘tested’.

In an iconic Love Island moment of this series Chloe told Toby that he had ‘failed’ the test and the pair went their separate ways for a little bit.

Casa Amor the rolled around where Chloe saw the green light to get to know whichever boy she wanted.

She soon hit it off with Scottish Dale Mehmet and the pair coupled up when Casa Amor came to a close.

Toby did a similar thing and found an interest in Mary Bedford so they coupled up as well.

However, Dale and Chloe’s relationship soon turned into a friendship and Toby realised he missed Chloe.

They recoupled and it was as if no time had passed as they went right back to where they were before and are now still going strong.
