Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City have been tipped to chase a striker in the upcoming January transfer window, and may have found their man in the form of Joao Felix
Manchester City could be set to make big moves in the January transfer window, according to the latest reports.
With Spanish winger Ferran Torres continuing to be linked with a move to Barcelona, the club may need to replace him and have been linked with a number of top targets.
And one of those is said to be one of the world’s most expensive players, Joao Felix, but they could instead swoop for an AC Milan player.
Pep Guardiola is also a coach who likes. to plan for the future, and some reports are linking the club with a £8.5m move for a Polish wonderkid.
Here are all the latest Man City transfer rumours.
City have scouted 18-year-old Polish midfielder Kacper Kozlowski, it has been reported.
The player has recently been linked with a move to Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion, but TVP Sport reports that Pep Guardiola’s side are ‘tempted’ to swoop in and offer £8.5m in order to beat them to the player’s signature.
It is claimed City have watched the player ‘several times’ but that the club could ask for more than £9m for Kozlowski.
AC Milan winger eyed
Another player who City scouts have reportedly watched is AC Milan winger Rafael Leao.
Sky Italia, via Calciomercato, reports that Pep Guardiola’s side are ‘ready to take advantage’ should the player fail to agree a new contract at the San Siro, with negotiations said to be currently underway.
The player’s current deal is said to run until 2024, although after a series of impressive displays this season he is said to be seeking better terms and so could seek a move elsewhere if a new contract is not agreed with his club.
Club plan Joao Felix swoop
City are ready to swoop in for Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix, according to reports.
According to Fichajes the player is currently unhappy in Spain after falling out with his manager Diego Simeone.
The Portuguese player has struggled to make an impact on the first team and has fallen behind a number of players in the Atletico pecking order, the report states.
City are named alongside Bayern Munich and Juventus as three teams who ‘love’ the forward, who could be available to sign in January.
