Married At First Sight groom gets head turned by bridesmaid on wedding day

Married at First Sight UK is set for fireworks tonight as groom Adam becomes distracted by wife Tayah’s very pretty bridesmaid during their wedding ceremony

Married at First Sight: Adam’s head turned by bridesmaid

A Married at First Sight UK groom gets his head turned by one of the bridesmaids on his wedding day.

Tonight’s episode will see the final two couples get married after having just met each other as the bride walks down the aisle.

Doncaster Lad Adam, 26 is looking for his bride but when one figure walks down the aisle, Adam turns to see her and is wowed by her beauty.

However, it awkwardly turns out to be the bridesmaid instead of the bride.

Adam gushes: “Wow, hi nice to meet you.”

However, someone sat in the front row quickly replies: “That’s the bridesmaid Adam, false alarm.”

Tayah, 25 from Welwyn Garden City will marry Adam, 26 from Doncaster.

The bride then turns out to be 25-year-old Tayah from Welwyn Garden City.

Another couple also ties the knot in tonight’s show as Jordon, 27 from Cardiff will marry Alexis, 28 from London.

The new set up of Married at First Sight UK has proved a hit with fans after producers changed the format to mirror the hugely successful Australian version of the show.

However, the marriage isn’t actually legally binding.

The rules differ depending which country the programme is set in.

Only participants in the US version of the show officially put pen to paper.

The UK edition received some controversy last week after fans branded Yorkshire man Franky, 47 ‘creepy’ after hearing his divisive wedding speech.

Fans took to social media to express that they were concerned for Franky’s new wife Marilyse, 37 after he showed ‘red flags’.

Someone told Adam straight away that he had mistaken the bridesmaid for the bride.

During the wedding reception Franky stood up to read a speech which didn’t seem to go down as well with the guests or fans watching at home.

He began: “Ladies and gentleman, I will actually enjoy this speech because it’s highly likely again that I will get to speak for a whole ten minutes without my wife interrupting me.

“Thank you in advance that on our honeymoon you’ll get up every morning and make me breakfast. I like my eggs runny.”

Adam was embarrassed as he mistook the bridesmaid for the bride.

Franky said that he signed up to the programme for the ‘challenge’.

Mother-of-two Marilyse said: “I would love to go through to the experiment to the very end and still be with the guy.

“That is what I want to happen and what I expect to happen. I will be a bit disappointed if it doesn’t happen, but we’ll have to wait and see.”

Married At First Sight UK continues tonight on E4 at 9pm
