Rob Beckett joked he “looked like a salesman called Keith” when he shared an unrecognisable throwback.

The comedian took to Instagram to post a picture from when he was 16 years old.

In the snap, Rob wore rimless glasses and an oversized suit. He had one hand in his trouser pocket and posed for the camera.

Say hello to me at 16 where I look like a 56 year old car salesman called Keith,” he wrote.

Going on to promote his book, he added: “For a full explanation of why I look like this buy my book A Class Act. Which is released next Thursday.”

Friends and fans took to the comment section to continue the joke.

He has a new book coming out

“You look like you’d stop me on the high street, hand over a leaflet and tell me god can heal me,” comedian Alex Brooker wrote.

Lloyd Griffith said: “Why do you look like Ian Beale?”

“Do you have time to talk about our lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ ?” one user joked.

Another added: “”Oh good morning sir do you have time to talk about our range of pvc windows?””

His upcoming book explores what it’s like to be an outsider and what life was like growing up.

Not only does the star have a new book coming out, but he also had a new show called Undeniable come out recently.

Explaining the show, he told The Independent : “It feels like being in a pub with your mates on a Saturday afternoon, someone saying something and then calling them out, and then it descends into an argument.”
