Strictly Come Dancing star AJ Odudu has not only been impressing judges with her dancing skills, but also leaving fans in awe of her ultra toned body
The 33-year-old presenter is currently competing on the current series of the hit BBC show, and viewers have been wowed not only by her dancing skills, but her enviable physique too.
The Blackburn fitness fanatic has said her routine can be done at home with basic chores keeping her in shape.
AJ, who is a qualified personal trainer and sports nutritionist, told new! magazine that hoovering her stairs “is a workout in itself.”
The TV star also says she enjoys a mix of skipping, boxing, yoga and HIIT (high-intensity interval training) to keep her energy levels high
AJ also spoke of the importance of rest and ensuring you have a healthy relationship with any fitness activity.
“I think it’s especially important to listen to your body,” she shared.
“This means not overdoing it one day and feeling stiff the next. Also, making sure you enjoy exercise is key.”
The bubbly star, who rose to fame hosting Big Brother’s Bit on the Side, then went on to reveal that when it comes to diet, she’s a big fan of intermittent fasting.
Also known as intermittent energy restriction, intermittent fasting is an umbrella term for various meal timing schedules that cycle between voluntary fasting and non-fasting over a given period.
AJ explained how she normally has her first meal around midday, and also takes multiple supplements to ensure she’s in tip-top shape.
After wowing judges for the second row in a week, the Blackburn babe is tipped for success throughout this series of Strictly Come Dancing.
Over the weekend, AJ and Kai blew viewers away with a sophisticated foxtrot to Amy Winehouse’s iconic hit, Tears Dry on Their Own.
Speaking after their performance, AJ said: “It’s so hard trying to contain all my energy, trying to keep it classy, be silky smooth, all of that, when I am just a little bit of rough really. It was very difficult.
The TV star added: “I just hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed performing it. I actually had fun in the end.”
Everyone certainly did enjoy the star’s routine – with judge Craig Revel Horwood going on to compare the Lancashire star to a ‘young Diana Ross’ in his critique.
Speaking to the star and her dance partner, the Strictly judge said: “I thought you were absolutely amazing, you really were. Like a young Diana Ross out there, darling.
Classy, elegant, stylish, all of those wonderful things.”
