Thomas Williams has revealed that talk show host sister Wendy Williams is still in hospital and admitted ‘she’s hanging in there’
Wendy Williams’ brother has revealed his sister is in a “stable” condition but remains in hospital.
The talk show host, 57, had recently postponed the season premiere of The Wendy Williams Show.
A statement from her team later revealed that the star was “continuing her health evaluations” and had tested positive for Covid-19.
And, while he didn’t explain what his sister was in hospital for, her brother Tommy Williams has now said that the star is “fighting” to get better.
In a video posted on his YouTube channel, Tommy said: “Thank you all for the kind words.
“I really do believe and have the faith that Wendy’s going to make it. It’s not an easy fight.

“It’s not one that individuals always win. Sadly, come November, we are on the anniversary of my mother’s passing.”
He continued: “It’s not easy. This isn’t easy but it’s necessary. She’s doing well. Stable. I’ve spoken with her, and we’re hanging in there. She’s hanging in there. We’re praying. She’s fighting.”
Tommy speaking out has caused many fans of the star to hit out at why he is speaking about the issue.
The pair were said to not be on talking terms after Tommy accused his sister of not going to their mother’s funeral last year.
Fans were quick to question his words. Actress Somaya Reece wrote: “Isn’t he an OPP? Why is he speaking?”
YouTuber Funky Dineva also commented: “I can assure you that Wendy doesn’t want him speaking for her. I’m sure she’d prefer her ex husband over him!”

In June, she said she wishes “death to” on Britney Spears’ dad after the singer’s claims in her on-going conservatorship battle.
Wendy exclaimed on her talk show at the time that Jamie Spears, 69, had certainly “fooled” her throughout the years and she was furious.
“How dare you Mr. Spears. You had me fooled. And you too, Mrs. Spears. Death to all of them,” she said.
A month earlier she weighed in on the Meghan Markle debate and insisted that the Duchess of Sussex will “regret” cutting off her estranged dad Thomas.
