West Ham vs Chelsea – Kick-off time, TV channel, live stream and team news

Thomas Tuchel takes Premier League leaders Chelsea to David Moyes’ high-flying West Ham in what promises to be a huge game in this London derby

Tuchel slams poor first half from Chelsea in win at Watford

Premier League leaders Chelsea make the short trip to West Ham in Saturday’s early kick-off as the visitors aim to keep up their lead at the top of the table.

The Hammers are having another impressive season under David Moyes and are currently fourth in the league and will look to maintain that position with a victory against their London rivals.

Thomas Tuchel’s side returned to winning ways in midweek with a 2-1 victory away to Watford on Wednesday night, helping them to continue leading the way ahead of nearby Manchester City and Liverpool.

West Ham are winless in three after conceding a late goal at home to Brighton in their 1-1 draw with the Seagulls on the same night and sit just one place and one point ahead of Arsenal in the top four.

The Blues have encountered a number of injury problems of late and will be sweating over the fitness of a few players ahead of this clash, while the Hammers are not far off a fully fit squad.

Team news

David Moyes is close to having a fully fit squad at his disposal for the visit of Chelsea but currently has just two injury concerns to worry about.

Angelo Ogbonna (knee) underwent surgery towards the end of last month after picking up an injury during West Ham’s 3-2 victory over Liverpool and is set to miss the remainder of the season, while Aaron Cresswell is recovering from a lower back injury but could potentially return for this fixture.

As for Thomas Tuchel, he has five players currently nursing injuries and may also opt for some squad rotation to freshen things up from midweek.

Trevoh Chalobah (hamstring) was withdrawn against Watford on Wednesday and is set for a spell on the sidelines, while Reece James (ankle) was deemed unfit for the Vicarage Road clash but could recover in time for the trip to West Ham on Saturday.

N’Golo Kante (knee) is set to miss out again as he continues to recover from his setback, along with Mateo Kovacic (thigh) and Ben Chilwell (knee).
