Ben Shephard has paid a tearjerking tribute to Sarah Harding on ITV Good Morning Britain today.
The ITV Good Morning Britain host spoke to Susanna Reid after the death of the Girls Aloud star from breast cancer aged just 39.
Ben said: “Sarah Harding has sadly passed away. It was in all the newspapers… somebody, who undoubtedly for all of us here, in whatever guise the breakfast show has had, while I have been here, since about 2000, has had got to know Sarah along with all the Girls Aloud girls.
“Jenny and I got to know them really well, interviewing them a number of times and right through to Good Morning Britain as well.
“She was just always such a minx. She always had a glint in her eye.
“She had a look in her eye, she was such good fun, and quite wild when they first got together.
“But she was such great company.”
Susanna said: “She was a ray of sunshine, wasn’t she?”
Ben added: “I think a lot of people have said that. The energy which poured out of her – every time you met her. This is such a beautiful photo and this is how I remember her.
