GBBO fans in tears as Giuseppe makes huge error during final showstopper

Great British Bake Off fans were left in tears as contestant Giuseppe realised his oven hadn’t turned on properly as he prepared to create his showstopper bake for the final.

He realised the door hadn’t shut properly which meant it hadn’t come on at all.

For the final showstopper, the finalists were tasked with baking an Alice in Wonderland teaparty themed bakes for the final.

All of the contestants set about creating their bakes, Crystelle and Chigs appeared calm and collected as everything was going to plan.

However disaster struck for fan favourite Giuseppe as he realised his oven was off which cost him precious time.

He appeared to crumble under the pressures of the final as he anxiously waited for his oven to heat up.

Grace wrote: “Omg no Giuseppe is having a nightmare of a week. #GBBO.”
