Prince Harry’s ‘face and demeanour have changed while in US’

Prince Harry is “clearly a lot happier” having stepping down from from the monarchy to live with wife Meghan Markle in the US “, a royal expert has claimed.

Prince Harry and Meghan moved to America with their toddler son Archie in March 2020, and they have since added baby daughter Lilibet to their family.

The pair faced substantial opposition to the move, with the Duke of Sussex being accused of “stabbing the royals in the back” over using their royal connections and “trying to blur the lines between being royal and being celebrities”, reports The Mirror.

However, the move has worked out well for Harry’s happiness, it has been claimed.

And it comes as Meghan herself told US talk show TV presenter Ellen DeGeneres that she and her husband ‘H’ are doing well.

When Ellen asked her what Harry loves about California, the Duchess of Sussex replied: “We’re just happy.”

She also opened up about life in the US with their two children Archie and Lilibet.

Meghan said: “Someone told H (Harry) and I that when you have one kid it’s a hobby, and two children is parenting.

“Suddenly we realised, ‘oh right’, everyone talks about what it’s like for the second child but no-one talks about the adjustment for the first child when the second one comes along.

“I think they have that moment of, ‘oh, this is fun, oh, this is how it is now’.”

She also said that Harry “loves” the weather and lifestyle in California.

The duchess said Archie “loves to dance” and added she will do the cooking on Thanksgiving.

She told the audience: “I love to cook, we’ll be (at) home and just relax and sort of settle in. It’s our second Thanksgiving (at) home (in) California, so it will be nice.”

Days before the talk show, and referring to an event Harry attended earlier this month, royal correspondent Rebecca English told Palace Confidential she could tell by Harry’s “face and his demeanour” that he is happier overseas.

She said: “Just by the look on his face and his demeanour, he clearly is a lot happier in the US with what he’s doing there compared to what he was doing here – and good luck to him.”

Prince Harry’s in a discussion with a US think tank about disinformation, which he published on the website for Archewell – the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s foundation.

He described the “mis and disinformation crisis” as a global humanitarian issue.
